EACH EVENT INCLUDES A RIGOROUS SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING BUSINESS MEETINGS WITH RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL LEADERS, FACTORY TOURS, AND INTERACTIONS WITH COUNTRY SPECIFIC BUSINESS LEADERS. MEMBERS ALSO PARTICIPATED IN VARIOUS SITE VISITS, LEARNED THE VALUES OF ASIAN CULTURES, BECAME STUDENTS OF DIFFERENT ASIAN CULINARY PRACTICES, AND TOURED AREAS OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE. EACH ACTIVITY EMPHASIZES AN ASPECT OF ENHANCING EACH MEMBER'S KNOWLEDGE OF THE VARIOUS CULTURES ANDBUSINESS PRACTICES WITHIN THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION. THROUGH HAPA, ITS MEMBERS UTILIZE AND SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE THEY GAIN FROM THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH THE REST OF HAWAII.
