SEED20: We celebrated our 11th year by returning to the stage with several program enhancements on March 26, 2024, which enabled us to spotlight 10 high-impact and diverse nonprofits from the Charlotte, NC metro area. Through our signature innovation program, we generated $115,272 in cash awards, community donations, and in-kind prizes, including a convenient online giving platform. We also hosted a series of new skill building and networking programs for our alumni focused on fundraising and board capabilities to support our SEED20 nonprofits beyond the stage.

Investee Grant Portfolio - In 2024, Social Venture Partners provided strategic capacity building support and $60,000 in total unrestricted grantfunding to three local nonprofits. SVP Partners supported these nonprofits in critical capacity building areas including staff transitions, ongoing advisory support and completing fundraising assessments to strengthen sustainability. Additional support included guidance on facilities and logistics, such as a lease review and information for critical vehicles. SVP also provided extensive board development services to help recruit new directors and increase board engagement. Examples include creating job descriptions, reviewing bylaws and facilitating board training workshops. Two advisory projects guided strategic planning and board evolution efforts.
