TO END THE CHILD AND MATERNAL MORTALITY CRISES AND DELIVER UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE AT SCALE, MUSO COLLABORATES WITH POLICYMAKERS AND IMPLEMENTERS TO DESIGN, TEST, AND SCALE EVIDENCE-BASED HEALTH SYSTEMS THAT DELIVER CARE WITH SPEED: TO ALL PATIENTS WHO NEED IT, WHEN THEY NEED IT. MUSO HAS WORKED IN MALI SINCE 2008, COLLABORATING WITH THE MALIAN GOVERNMENT AS AN OPERATIONAL RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTING PARTNER, BUILDING THE EVIDENCE BASE REQUIRED TO CREATE NATIONAL HEALTH POLICY CHANGE. WITHIN MALI, MUSO HAS TEN OPERATIONAL SITES (8 IN RURAL MALI AND 2 IN PERI-URBAN MALI). IN ADDITION, DURING 2022, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE IVORIAN MINISTRY OF HEALTH, MUSO LAUNCHED OPERATIONS IN COTE D'IVOIRE AT 23 PRIMARY HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AND TWO GENERAL HOSPITALS. IN MUSO'S RAPID CARE MODEL, COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS ACTIVELY SEARCH FOR PATIENTS DOOR-TO-DOOR, PROVIDE SCREENING AND TREATMENT IN THE HOME, AND EVACUATE THE SICKEST PATIENTS TO UPGRADED PRIMARY HEALTH CENTERS, WHERE ALL POINT-OF-CARE FEES ARE REMOVED.
