Continuing Medical Education Mission STO is committed to providing impactful education to oncology physicians, with the goal of improving the quality and safety of care for patients with cancer. This mission will be fulfilled by offering relevant and effective continuing medical education programs, focusing on: Knowledge and strategies for implementation of critical new developments in cancer treatment, screening, and prevention, the translational gap between research, discovery and delivery of care to the patient, providing content that is evidence-based and within the discipline of clinical medicine, and educational activities that are relevant and impact the practice of physicians within an oncology team in collaboration with nurses, pharmacists and other oncology healthcare professionals.
