CARE HOUSE SERVES THE PEE DEE COMMUNITY WITH INVESTIGATIVE AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES FOR CHILD MALTREATMENT VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES. IN 2024, 1,366 EVIDENCE BASED COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS WERE PROVIDED USING FIVE FORMS OF EVIDENCE SUPPORTED THERAPY. FOUR OF THESE THERAPIES ARE NOT OTHERWISE AVAILABLE LOCALLY AND ONE IS AVAILABLE IN ONLY FOUR LOCATIONS IN THE STATE. SIX HUNDRED TWELVE INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES WERE COMPLETED WITH CHILDREN FROM AT LEAST 11 COUNTIES, AND 644 DISCLOSURES OF ABUSE AND MALTREATMENT WERE MADE BY THESE CHILDREN. CARE HOUSE SERVES FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE LIFE CYCLE OF THEIR CASE, PROVIDING HOPE, HELP AND HEALING AT EACH STEP.
