Our 5 focus areas and programs are as follows:WOMENS HEALTH- We have a BIPOC womens health radio show, a womens health equity study in progress, a running Black WOmen peer support group, and we organize say yes to your chest for free Breast exams for women of color that are underinsured or uninsured.HOUSING STABILITY- We provide emergency rental assistance for eligible clients depending on funding sources.FOOD SECURITY- We provide volunteers to serve free hot meals twice weekly in the park for people in need.COMMUNITY ORGANIZING- We provide a safe space to amplify community voices and celebrate our shared values. Events include Juneteenth Freedom Celebration, Transgender Day of Remembrance, Womens Friendship Tea, and Various outreach events to get feedback on city initiatives regarding climate change and comprehensive planning.
