Food Programs/Special Programs - The solicitation , collection, and temporary storage and disctribution of donated food to help the ill, needy and at-risk residents of Hamilton County and surrounding communities. Typically, food is donated and is immediately distributed to various food pantries, or utilized in the Holiday assistance program. Additionally, GSN provides other special programs to provide opportunites to develop and provide other resources (Backpack Program, Babe Store, Cancer Program), and to enhance the network.
