China Thinks Big (CTB) is a social entrepreneurship competition for Chinese high school students. The participants analyze one of several prominent social issues in China presented to them, and devise an innovative solution to tackle that issue in their local communities. Harvard College Summit for Young Leaders in China (HSYLC) connectings Harvard students by enabling them to teach seminars on topics of their own choosing to pre-selected top high school students in China. The conference aims to simulate a Harvard educational experience with liberal arts style education, extra curricular activities, and renowned guest speakers. The conference lasts one week, and is our flagship program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, HSYLC has operated virtually, bringing this experience to students through virtual platforms.
