Homeless Adults and Youth, Veterans, Unemployed, Families in crisis, Human Trafficking: partnered with on the ground ministries Spirit Key, Inc, Malachi Destiny and Purpose, Jesus Alpha and Omega Family Ministries, across Houston. Schools and Education At Risk: sponsored book distribution (6 free books per child) at Shearn Elementary; supported Books Between Kids in Houston; Booker T. Washington Essay contest Alief ISD High Schools; Good Reader programs. Women's Storybook ministry for mothers in prison provides recordings to their kids at home; Christmas/Thanksgiving donations to PACT and City of Houston efforts; Rice University Community Service Award Grant. Underserved and Medical Care: Rice Global 360 intern for R&D high tech, low-cost medical devices for low resource countries: BETA International work in biomedical repair/design work in Haiti and Tanzania; Pro Salud preventive health work Hispanic/Latinos Houston; Haiti biomedical training conference.
