Visual Arts Program accomplishments: 1. Delivered the visual arts program in the main studio at the Womens Home and various satellite locations at SBISD schools and community centers serving 1150 students. 2. Provided scholarships and encouragement to 5 college students for the 2023-2024 academic year and Fall 2024-2025 academic year 3. In 2024, NewSpring had more than 39 high school students participate in the art auction event. NewSpring hosted the annual auction in partnership within the Spring Street art studios. Student artwork was displayed at the event, with an on-line auction platform that opened the bid process to both event attendees and individuals who were unable to attend the event. The auction event helps students recognize the value of their talents and experience the marketplace at work. The grants figure shown in Part III, Section 4.A includes an allocation of proceeds from the student artwork.

The Flight 25 program supported students in the SBISD Northbrook High School community through monthly class time with speakers on different careers and personal stories of succeeding with limited resources. Students participated in two Saturday sessions including an exploration trip to the University of Houston and speakers addressing parent support, perseverance and participation throughout high school.
