Patient Transportation: Our transportation program provides rides to persons with sickle cell disease (SCD) to their clinic appointments. Our clinic partners have found that transportation is a major barrier to persons accessing consistent health care and this has a devastating impact on the health outcomes of persons with SCD. We provided just over 1,300 rides in total.

This program included expenditures on hosting our Annual Education Day Conference. Over 100 people attended the conference. We also update and use our website as a mechanism to raise awareness about SCD.
