THE ORGANIZATION INITIALLY ESTABLISHED A PRESENCE IN THE UNITED STATES AND HAS SINCE, AND CONTINUES, TO EXPAND TO COUNTRIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.GRAMEEN RESEARCH, INC. HAS BEEN CREATED TO COMPLEMENT THE VARIOUS MICROFINANCE, HEALTHCARE, AND EDUCATION INITIATIVES OF THE GRAMEEN TRUST IN THE UNITED STATES AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. THE GRAMEEN TRUST IS AN AFFILIATE OF THE GRAMEEN BANK OF BANGLADESH, WHICH INITIATED THE GRAMEEN MODEL OF MICROFINANCE.
