OUR LADY OF HOPE PARISH IN MOSCOW, A PARISH OF THE ROMAN-CATHOLIC CHURCH (THE "PARISH"). THE PARISH IS HEAVILY INVOLVED IN BUILDING UP TIES OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN RUSSIANS AND THE DIFFERENT GROUPS AND TRADITIONS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE IDENTITY OF THE PARISH, WHICH REMAIN SOUNDLY BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE AND FAITH OF THOSE MEMBERS WHOSE LINKS ARE TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN THE U.S. THE ASSOCIATION INTENDS TO DEVELOP ITS FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE PARISH, AS DESCRIBED IN THE ASSOCIATION'S FOUNDATION CHARTER SECTION III AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE PARISH'S FOUNDATION CHARTER UNDER RUSSIAN LAW.
