Mission

THE PURPOSE OF THE LEAGUE SHALL BE TO PROMOTE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RELATED SERVICES IN THE STATE OF NJ; TO ACT AS A FISCAL CONDUIT FROM FUNDING SOURCES TO MEMBER PROJECTS AND TO SEEK OUT AND HELP SECURE FUNDING SOURCES FOR MEMBER PROJECTS. THE LEAGUE IS INCORPORATED AS A TITLE X NON PROFIT CONSOLIDATED GRANTEE AGENCY CONSISTING OF A CENTRAL OFFICE AND AGENCIES PROVIDING FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES IN ALL NJ COUNTIES. THE LEAGUE RECEIVES AND ALLOCATES TITLE X FEDERAL FUNDING AND NJ HEALTH DEPARTMENT FUNDS, MONITORS FOR PROGAMMATIC AND FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE, AND ASSISTS ITS AGENCIES IN FORMULATING AND ATTAINING THEIR INDIVIDUAL OBJECTIVES. THE PRIMARY GOAL OF THE LEAGUE IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH PROVIDER AGENCIES CAN RENDER THE MAXIMUM IN QUALITY FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES.
