The Trust no longer holds assets available to fund certain active employee medical, dental, life insurance and long-term disability benefits provided through the Merck Medical, Dental, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Plan. Funding of benefits provided under the Merck Retiree Medical Plan for retirees of Merck and its subsidiaries and their dependents constituted all of the activities of the Trust. Effective June 6, 2024, the Trust was terminated.
