THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF NEW JERSEY EDUCATION FUND EMPOWERS VOTERS THROUGH ROBUST VOTER EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND PROTECTS THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE. VOTER EDUCATION: THE LEAGUE PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE AND FACTUAL NONPARTISAN VOTER EDUCATION TO COMBAT MISINFORMATION AND DISINFORMATION AND ENSURE THAT EVERYONE HAS THE INFORMATION THEY NEED TO MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD. A SMALL SAMPLE OF THIS INFORMATION INCLUDES: VOTE411.ORG - A ONE-STOP RESOURCE PROVIDING CRITICAL ELECTION INFORMATION AT EVERY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT. THIS INFORMATION INCLUDES INFORMATION ABOUT ACCESSING THE BALLOT (VOTER REGISTRATION, POLLING PLACES, ETC) AND INFORMATION ABOUT WHO IS RUNNING AND WHERE THEY STAND ON POLICY ISSUES. PRINTED MATERIAL: THE LEAGUE DISTRIBUTES THOUSANDS OF PRINTED INFORMATION A YEAR IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES THAT PROVIDES NONPARTISAN ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS. WEBINARS AND TRAININGS: THE LEAGUE PARTNERS WITH OTHERS TO PROVIDE WEBINARS AND TRAININGS TO SHARE VITAL NONPARTISAN VOTER EDUCATION. THE LEAGUE PROVIDES HUNDREDS OF VOTER REGISTRATION EVENTS, CANDIDATE FORUMS, AND OTHER. VOTER PROTECTION: LEAGUE STAFF MONITORED THE ELECTION PROTECTION HOTLINE ALL 100 HOURS THAT THE POLLS WERE OPEN DURING THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTION AND ALL 42 HOURS THE POLLS WERE OPEN DURING THE 2023 PRIMARY ELECTION. THROUGH THE HOTLINE, THE LEAGUE HELPED ANSWER VOTERS' QUESTIONS, ASSISTED THEM IN FINDING THEIR POLLING LOCATIONS, AND HELPED VOTERS RETURN THEIR VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS. LWVNJ-EF ALSO MONITORED THE NATIONAL ELECTION PROTECTION HOTLINE AND DEFENDED DEMOCRACY BY LIFTING UP PROBLEMS REPORTED BY NEW JERSEY VOTERS TO ENSURE THEY WERE PROPERLY ADDRESSED.
