During the 2024-25 year, Trinity Repertory Company, the State Theater of Rhode Island, produced a six-play season. The season opened in September 2024 with two productions running in rotating repertory: "POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive", by Selina Fillinger directed by Artistic Director Curt Columbus and "Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - APT 2B" by Kate Hamill directed by Laura Kepley. These plays were followed by our beloved annual reimagining of "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" directed by Resident Company Member Tatyana Marie Carlo, which was staged off-site at the Providence Performing Arts Center to allow our Chace theater to be prepared for renovation. The winter and spring featured the following two productions as a part of our main stage subscription series: the world premiere commission of "Someone Will Remember Us" by Resident Company Members Deborah Salem Smith and Charlie Thurston based on documentary interviews with Rhode Island veterans of the Iraq War directed by Christopher Windom and "La Tempestad - The Tempest" by William Shakespeare, adapted and translated by Orlando Hernndez, Tatyana-Marie Carlo, and Leandro "Kufa" Castro, directed by Christie Vela presented in English and Spanish, with subtitles for both languages. The season closed with a moving production of "Blues for an Alabama Sky" by Pearl Cleage, directed by Resident Company member Jackie Davis. All subscription performances were completed in Trinity Rep's smaller performance venue - The Dowling Theater as the organization prepared for a major theater renovation.

In addition to public performances, Trinity Rep continued to manage and oversee the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA program for actors and directors with Brown University. Trinity Rep's Education and Community Engagement Departments provided significant activity for all ages including Project discovery school matinee performances, in-school residencies, summer camp, after school classes, community conversations, panels, and exhibitions.
