To support the preservation, interpretation, curatorial and educational programs of Cornwall Iron Furnace, a Pennsylvania Historical Museum Commission (PHMC) site. Supplemented the PHMC staff so the Cornwall Iron Furnace Site can remain open more often. Provide local employment for people to serve as site support staff. Publish quarterly newsletters promoting local history. Volunteers conduct quided tours for vistors to the site several days each week and during special events. Events are planned and interpretive signage is designed to introduce the visitors and the community to the site and its historic contributions to the iron industry. These events include but are not limited to a holiday open house held annually and a commermorative acknowledgement of local mining history. Lectures on related topics are held multiple times a year in-person and in digital platforms.
