PROTECTION OF OPEN SPACE AND WILDLIFE HABITAT - THE ATTLEBORO LAND TRUST (ALT) OWNS AND MANAGES 15 CONSERVATION PROPERTIES TOTALING 492 ACRES AND HOLDS CONSERVATION RESTRICTIONS ON AN ADDITIONAL 200 ACRES OF CONSERVATION LAND. BY PROTECTING THE CONSERVATION VALUES OF THIS LAND, THE ALT PROVIDES MANY PUBLIC BENEFITS, INCLUDING PRESERVATION OF ENDANGERED SPECIES, PROTECTION OF AIR AND WATER QUALITY, AND FLOOD CONTROL.
