The Association publishes an academic journal called the American Law and Economics Review known as the ALER. The Association typically publishes two issues a year Spring and Fall. The ALER is provided to our members as part of their yearly membership benefits. The publisher of the ALER is Oxford University Press and we publish academic articles submitted by our members. We also award two prizes every year each in the amount of $2,500 for the best theoretical and the best empirical paper published in the ALER during the preceding year.
