JERSEY CITY COMMUNITY CHARTER SCHOOL (JCCCS) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATNG AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC SCHOOL UNDER A CHARTER GRANTED BY THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. JCCCS PROMOTES EDUCATION REFORM THROUGH INNOVATIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCES. THE CHARTER SCHOOL HAS DEVELOPED A COMPREHENSIVE STARETEGIC PLAN TO SUPPORT ITS MISSION AND VISON AND SERVE AS BLUE PRINT FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ITS GOALS. THE PLAN INCLUDES OBJECTIVES SUCH AS PUPIL ACHIEVEMENTS, STAFF DEVELOPMENT, AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM. THE SCHOOL OFFERS AN EXTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AS WELL AS EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMS THAT WOULD CONTINUE THE INVOLVEMENT OF PARENTS IN THE EDUCATION OF THEIR CHILDREN. THE CHARTER SCHOOL HAS CREATED A "SAFE-HAVEN" PROGRAM IN THE AFTERNOONS FOR STUDENTS WHOSE PARENTS WORK,.THE PROGRAM OFFERS TOTURIAL ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES.
