THE ARTHUR MILLER FOUNDATION FELLOWS PROGRAM IS A THREE-YEAR PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION THAT PROVIDES THEATER TEACHERS WITH THE DEDICATED RESOURCES AND SUPPORT NEEDED TO BUILD SUSTAINABLE IN-SCHOOL THEATER PROGRAMS AS AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT OF A PRE-K-12 ACADEMIC CURRICULUM FOR EVERY STUDENT. ADDITIONALLY, AS A MEANS OF INCREASING AND DIVERSIFYING THE NUMBER OF CERTIFIED THEATER TEACHERS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, THROUGH THE ARTHUR MILLER FOUNDATION SCHOLARS PROGRAM, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS FOR ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES TO EARN THEIR NEW YORK STATE THEATER TEACHING CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE GRADUATE PROGRAM IN EDUCATIONAL THEATRE AT THE CITY COLLEGE OF NEW YORK.
