The members of the National Society of Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America ("NSDFPA") support historic preservation through awards to students for achievement in American History and donations towards the Cathedral of the Pines, Yorktown Association membership and the National President's Project. Our largest donations are the Restoration Project Grants which are given to 501(c)3 organizations for the restoration of historic artifacts and documents dated prior to 1850. The NSDFPA provides the Golden Shield Award to recipients in the community for noteworthy contribution in historic preservation or restoration, archeology, or published works.
The NSDFPA promotes patriotism via Service Academy Awards for Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine, and sale of ROTC and JROTC medals for presentation by chapters at local schools.
