The library hosts a number of programming events throughout the year, from story times and book clubs to educational visits from zoos and museums to coding classes and STEM exercises. In 2017, we had a visit from alpacas, a Peeps diorama contest, children's book clubs, police story times, animal visits, music and craft programs. Adults learned about meditation, personal computer tips, home organizing and more. Over 10,000 people use our wireless internet and/or our public computers, and we were able to give tutorials on computer and iPad usage with our own equipment.

The Penn Wynne Library Association's primary goal is to raise money to stock and maintain the library's collections, to support educational programs, and to ensure these resources are available to our community free of charge. Our fundraising activities included a 5K held in partnership with the local elementary school, shoe drive for micro businesses in developing countries, fund drive letters, a wine and dessert pairing, bake and book sales, and Touch a Truck. We appreciate all of our donors and most of our funding comes from the fund drives; however, we have a variety of fundraising events to engage community members who may not realize all the library has to offer or may have ideas of how we can improve our offerings.
