FOOD BANK - ACQUIRES AND WAREHOUSES FOOD AND TOILETRIES MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH DONATIONS AND THE PURCHASE OF FOOD. THE FOOD BANK PROVIDES FOOD AND TOILETRIES TO PANTRIES FOR THE DISTRIBUTION TO INDIVIDUALS NEEDING FOOD ASSISTANCE FOOD PANTRY - IN JULY OF 2023, THE FOOD DISTRIBUTION MODEL CHANGED TO THE CLIENT CHOICE MODEL. THIS WAS BRANDED "THE MARKET ON 7TH", A CHARITABLE FOOD PANTRY. THIS PROVIDES A GROCERY MARKET STYLE ENVIRONMENT WHERE GUESTS ARE ABLE TO MAKE SELECTIONS WITHIN THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE LEADERSHIP. VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF RECEIVED DONATED AND PURCHASED GOODS, INVENTORY THE ITEMS AS APPROPRIATE, AND STOCK THE SHELVES LIKE A GROCERY MARKET. INDIVIDUALS WHO PRESENT TO THE MARKET ON 7TH ARE REGISTERED AS PER THE GUIDLINES OF THE USDA/PA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND ARE ASKED TO SELF-DECLARE THEIR INCOME TO ENSURE THOSE BEING SERVED MEET THE GUIDELINES.

THIS LOCATION IS A SINGLE SITE FOR INTAKE, DAYTIME RESOURCES, AND OVERNIGHT SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS. THIS LOCATION PROVIDES KITCHEN FACILITIES, SLEEPING FACLITITES, LAUNDRY FACILITIES AND BATHROOM/SHOWER FACILITIES. THE LOCATION IS STAFFED 24/7 BETWEEN STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS
