PARKLAND AQUATIC CLUB (PAAC) BEGAN IN 1990 WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING SWIMMING AND OTHER AQUATIC SPORTS ACTIVITIES, TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES RELATED TO AQUATICS, TO FOSTER LOCAL COMPETITION AND TO PROVIDE RELATED SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.THE CLUB PROVIDES AN ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES WELLNESS AND PHYSICAL FITNESS. PAAC SERVES APPROXIMATESLY 150 FAMILIES ANNUALLY. IT OPERATES FULL YEAR, PROVIDING AQUATIC PROGRAMMING FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 YOUTH OF VARIOUS AGE LEVELS. PAAC HOSTS SEVERAL MEETS FOR THE COMMUNITY EACH SEASON IN ADDITION TO ITS COMPETITIVE AND INSTRUCTIONAL TRAINING.
