TO ARRANGE AND CAUSE TO BE CONDUCTED PUBLIC EXERCISES BY MEANS OF LUNCHEONS, DINNERS, PEACEFUL ASSEMBLAGE, AND PARADES TO MEMORIALIZE THE GLORIES OF SAINT PATRICK. TO INCULCATE IN THE CITIZENS OF METROPOLITAN PHILADELPHIA, AS A RESULT OF SAINT PATRICK'S DAY OBSERVANCE, A DEEPER PATRIOTISM AND BELIEF IN OUR AMERICAN FORM OF GOVERNMENT.
