The Newtown Rock travel program provide The Newtown Rock travel program provides am opportunity for young women to experience during the 2023-24 season, the organization maintained teams at the 12U,14U,16U and 18U age brackets. Our teams competed in sanctioned events from the following national organizations: ASA (Amateur Softball Association),USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association), and PGF(Premier Girls Fastpitch). During the 2023-24 season, our players competed in national tournaments in CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, MD, NJ, NY, PA , T& VA. Our travel program is renowned for providing strong college recruiting opportunities and services for its players. Since 2010, the Newtown Rock travel program has produced 173 NCAA scholarship players. Our travel players are expected to give back to the Newtown community and during the 2023-24 season they contributed their time to mentor younger players in our recreational program, and participated in beautification events at Helen Randle Community Park. Our travel players and families regularly committed their time and talent to help maintain Helen Randle Park in Newtown, PA, including extensive maintenance throughout the outdoor play portion of the travel season. The travel players also provided community service through the Snow Angels Program which shovels snow from the driveways of elderly Newtown residents.
