Provide financial support to The Timothy School, a non-profit PA Dept of Education designated Approved Private School, educating students ages 5 to 21 years old diagnosed with Autism. Students attend school from six couties in Southeastern PA including Bucks, Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. The school is recognized for providing research based models of instruction including Structured Teaching, Applied Behavior Analysis, Total Communication and Positive Behavioral Supports. The Faculty participate in training seminars to disseminate best practices to the field and provide pre-service opportunities in Special Education, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy to undergraduate and graduate students from neighboring colleges. Parent training is an essential component of the school program to provide students with optimum opportunities to generalize skills within the home and community.
