Often, animals we take in are strays, found and never claimed by their owner. We provide vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and veterinary care for illness or injury. We strive to learn about each animal individually, their likes and dislikes, their good as well as undesirable behaviors, their motivators, and most of all their true personalities so we have the best possibility of matching each animal with their forever home. We also intake owner surrenders. We seek to help owners be able to keep their animals, but this is not always possible. Any animals coming into our care can be very costly and time consuming.We strive to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering to address the overwhelming unwanted animal population. We also, whenever possible, educate on the importance of reporting animal neglect and/or cruelty. Animals have no voice; WE need to be their voice!
