IN FISCAL YEAR 2025, WE REMAINED COMMITTED TO ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY AND SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN CRISIS IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. WE COORDINATED THE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ESSENTIAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING FOOD, CLOTHING, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FACING HARDSHIP. DURING THE YEAR, WE: -DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 400,000 POUNDS OF FOOD TO 20,400 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH OUR FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM. -PROVIDED EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RENT, UTILITIES, AND OTHER BASIC NEEDS TO HELP PREVENT HOMELESSNESS AND STABILIZE FAMILIES. -SUPPLIED CLOTHING AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS TO FAMILIES EXPERIENCING ECONOMIC STRESS. -COLLABORATED WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO OFFER HOLIDAY MEAL BASKETS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND SEASONAL SUPPORT SERVICES. -REFERRED CLIENTS TO ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO FURTHER PROMOTE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND WELL-BEING. IN JUNE 2025, WE ENHANCED OUR SERVICES BY TRANSITIONING TO A FULL-CHOICE PANTRY MODEL, EMPOWERING CLIENTS TO SELECT THE FOOD ITEMS THAT BEST MEET THEIR HOUSEHOLD'S DIETARY NEEDS, PREFERENCES, AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS. THIS SHIFT PROMOTES DIGNITY, REDUCES FOOD WASTE, AND REINFORCES OUR COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING RESPECTFUL, CLIENT-CENTERED CARE. WE ALSO CONTINUED TO DEVELOP AND ADVOCATE FOR PROGRAMS THAT STRENGTHEN FAMILIES UNDER STRESS. THIS INCLUDES OUTREACH EFFORTS, EDUCATION ON AVAILABLE SERVICES, AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO EXPAND OUR IMPACT. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, MATTIE N. DIXON COMMUNITY CUPBOARD, INC. SERVED AS A VITAL SOURCE OF HOPE AND STABILITY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED, DEMONSTRATING THE POWER OF LOCAL GENEROSITY AND COMPASSION.
