WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE GOSHEN FIRE COMPANY, ARE DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE, PROPERTY, AND THE ENVIRONMENT. AS A VOLUNTEER AND CAREER DEPARTMENT, OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL FIRE RESCUE, FIRE POLICE, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING OF QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS, PROVIDING THEM WITH THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO PERFORM ANY TASK. WE ASK ONLY FOR THE SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY TO HELP US PERFORM OUR MISSION OF PUBLIC SERVICE.

THE GOSHEN FIRE COMPANY STARTED IN 1950 IN A SMALL GARGAE IN THE MILLTOWN SECTION OF EAST GOSHEN WITH ONE FIRE TRUCK AND HAS GROWN TO WHAT IT IS TODAY, TWO STATIONS HOUSING, 17 PIECES OF FIRE APPARATUS INCLUDING 1 ENGINES, 2 LADDERS, 2 SQUARDS, 5 EMS UNITS, 2 TRAFFICE UNITS, 1 BRUSH TRUCK, 1 SUPPORT UNIT AND 3 CHIEF RESPONSE VEHICLES. THE FIRE COMPANY RESPONDS TO OVER 700 FIRE EMERGENCIES A YEAR AND WELL IN EXCESS OF 5,000 EMS CALLS A YEAR. THE GOSHEN FIRE COMPANY PROVIDES FIRE, RESCUE AND EMS SERVICES TO EAST AND WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIPS, WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP AND WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP. THE FIRE COMPANT COVERS APPROXIMATELY 25 SQUARE MILES AND PROTECTS OVER 25,000 RESIDENTS.
