His feast day is November 30 and his Saints Day is a celebration and education of Scottish culture and heritage with traditional food, music (especially bagpipes) and Scottish dancing. The cross on which St. Andrew was crucified has been adopted as the national flag of Scotland and incorporated into the Union flag. The Saints Day is celebrated in Philadelphia with an annual gala dinner. Several historical treasures and relics owned by the Society are carried in the annual St. Andrew's Day procession that is part of the festivities. In June of 2023, sixty members and guests of the St. Andrew's society traveled to Scotland to pay homage to Scotland and in honor of the Society's 275th anniversary. The group traveled to the Battlefield of Culloden, the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Scone Palace, Edinburgh Castle, Scotland's Parliament. Throughout the trip, the group was immersed in Scottish culture, was educated in the history as well as the progression into modern Scotland.
