The Chester Historical Society operates and owns the Chester Museum, which offers both seasonal and long-run exhibits on its two floors. The museum is open on weekends from June through October with free admission and welcomes other visitors during the year from schools and groups by appointment. CHS also hosts several free public educational programs a year, maintains an online library of films about Chester and publishes books of Chester history.
