THE MONTESSORI ACADEMY OPERATES AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR PRE-SCHOOL THROUGH 8TH GRADE. IT IS THE FIRST PRIVATE SCHOOL IN THE STATE OF INDIANA TO BE DUALLY ACCREDITED BY THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION OF THE CENTRAL STATES (ISACS) AND THE AMERICAN MONTESSORI SOCIETY (AMS), OFFERING A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS INCLUDING BEFORE AND AFTER CARE PROGRAMMING, ATHLETICS, AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, EARLY CHILDHOOD HALF/FULL DAY, EXTENDED DAY KINDERGARTEN, LOWER ELEMENTARY, UPPER ELEMENTARY, AND JUNIOR HIGH. IN THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR, THE ACADEMY HAD 195 STUDENTS WITH 11 CLASSROOMS. IN ADDITION, THE ACADEMY ALSO RUNS A MONTESSORI CLASSROOM AT THE SOUTH BEND CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS, THE ONLY PROGRAM OF ITS KIND IN THE COUNTRY.
