PROGRAMS INCLUDE: RECREATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES - THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED ELDERLY IN BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA. HEALTH AND WELLNESS SERVICES- THESE SERVICES INCLUDE MONTHLY SCREENING AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT. TRANSPORTATION - THE SENIOR CENTER HAS A VAN THAT PROVIDES PICK-UP AND DROPP-OFF SERVICE FOR CLIENTS THAT ATTEND THE CENTERS PROGRAM. ADULT DAYCARE- THESE SERVICES INCLUDE A COMPLETE LINE OF RECREATIONALA ACTIVITIES AND THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS THAT ARE UTILIZED TO ENHANCE AWARENESS, SELF-MOTIVATION, FLEXIBILITY, AND PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT. ALZHEIMER DISEASE INITIATIVE- THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AGE 60 ABD OLDER, WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER OR SOME OTHER FORM OD DEMENTIA.
