There are several components to nation building at SOH: students will live, learn health behaviors, graduate at grade level in reading and math, know who they are as Lakota human beings and be critical thinkers. SOH acknowledges the original free and independent existence of the Oceti Sakowin and continue to educate our youth on their own ancestral languages, cultures, and spiritual and ceremonial traditions.
