THROUGH OUR WORK AT THE UNITED WAY WE REALIZE THAT A QUALITY EDUCATION THAT LEADS ON A STABLE JOB WITH ENOUGH INCOME TO SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY THROUGH RETIREMENT AND GOOD HEALTH ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS TO A BETTER LIFE. EDUCATION: HELPING CHILDREN AND YOUTH ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL. IMPROVING ACCESS TO QUALITY, AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE AND EARLY LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES. AND PROVIDING AFTER-SCHOOL AND MENTORING PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH. INCOME: HELPING FAMILIES BECOME FINANCIALLY STABLE AND INDEPENDENT. BY SUPPORTING PROGRAMS THAT INCREASE ACCESS TO CRITICAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES. REDUCING SUBSTANCE ABUSE, CHILD ABUSE, AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FOR HEALTHIER LIFE STYLES.
