COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES OUR LA COUNTY-FUNDED PROGRAM SERVICES ENABLE US TO EXPAND OUR SERVICE OFFERINGS TO A BROADER CLIENTELE. THROUGH A VARIETY OF LA COUNTY FUNDED GRANTS, THESE PROGRAMS PREPARE RESIDENTS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO SUCCEED IN THE LABOR MARKET BY PROVIDING A COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, PAID WORK EXPERIENCE, CAREER COUNSELING, AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS AGES 14 TO 24, WHO HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.THIS YEAR, WE WERE ABLE TO ASSIST 900 IN VARIOUS PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS, DISPLACED EMPLOYEES, RE-ENTRY CLIENTS, OUT-OF-SCHOOL ADOLESCENTS, UNDERSERVED STUDENTS, TEENAGERS ON PUBLIC ASSISTANCE, FOSTER YOUTH, YOUTH ON PROBATION, SYSTEM-INVOLVED YOUTHS, INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, AND MANY OTHERS.
