Mid-America Horse Show Association's mission is to provide an environment for members to fully realize and enjoy their involvement with the American Saddlebred, Road Horses and Ponies through competitions and other equine related activities. With more than 400 members, Mid-America is one of the largest charter clubs of the American Saddlebred Horse Association. In addition to representing owners, trainers, exhibitors and admirers of American Saddlebreds, Mid-America also includes Hackney and Harness Show Ponies, Road Horses and Road Ponies as well as riders of Saddle Seat Equitation. The organization produces three shows a year and oversees a regional circuit of 35 affiliated A and B rated shows in Illinois and surrounding states where members earn points towards custom-designed year-end awards.
The Organization sponsors three annual horse shows to provide members the opportunity to show their horses and compete for ribbons.
An annual awards ceremony is organized to recognize the equestrian accomplishments of members.
The Organization conducts instructional classes at each of three annual shows. The classes are available to members attending the shows.
