In the San Diego Master Chorales 63rd season, over 15,000 audience members were served through five self-produced concerts and six performances with artistic partners (San Diego Symphony, Salvation Army, St. James-By-The-Sea Music Series, and Mainly Mozart), and thousands more were reached through radio and television broadcasts of performances on KPBS 89.5 FM and a Holiday Special on KPBS. The Chorale partnered with the Choral Consortium of San Diego and Beer Choir San Diego to present a community sing with over 125 community members who joined together in song. The Chorale appeared on the inaugural California Festival, a two-week long statewide music festival, and made its solo debut on stage at The Rady Shell. The season included two sold out Master Chorale concerts, two capacity concerts, set a new attendance record for the annual Honor Choir concert, a sales record for one concert, and saw a 75% increase in overall attendance over the previous season.
