The organization maintains a full service acute care hospital facility and hires or contracts for health care professionals and administrative personnel. In addition to fee for service activities, the hospital provides services to individuals at no charge through free clinics, free screenings, and education. Care is provided to patients who meet certain criteria under the Medicaid program and the hospital's financial assistance policy without charge or at amounts less than established rates. Free care for the current year at the hospital's established rates approximated $146,740.
