Its additional resources include medical, dental, nutritional, mental health, and social services, and are available to all regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status. - Diabetes education for disparate populations: to provide culturally and economically appropriate education that enables persons with diabetes to better manage their disease. - Support groups are offered free of charge to help people understand and cope with particular problems or illnesses.
