THE ALLIANCE OF PENNSYLVANIA COUNCILS ("ALLIANCE") WAS INCORPORATED IN 2001 TO CAPITALIZE ON THE COMPETENCIES OF REGIONAL 501(C)(3) COMMUNITY BASED CORPORATIONS (EACH, A "REGIONAL PARTNER") THAT, TOGETHER, BUILD AND SUPPORT HEALTH-RELATED PROGRAMS AND MANAGE LONG-STANDING COMMUNITY-BASED NETWORKS OF HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. AS OF JUNE 30, 2023, THE REGIONAL PARTNERS INCLUDE ACCESSMATTERS, SERVING SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, THE FAMILY HEALTH COUNCIL OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA (FHCCP) SERVING CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA, AND MATERNAL AND FAMILY HEALTH SERVICES (MFHS) SERVING NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA. EACH REGIONAL PARTNER IS A GRANTEE OF THE FEDERAL TITLE X FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAM. THROUGH THE ALLIANCE, PUBLIC HEALTH DOLLARS HAVE BEEN EFFECTIVELY MANAGED AND SERVICES DELIVERED WITH CONSISTENT QUALITY ON A WIDE RANGE OF HEALTH-RELATED PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH WHO HAVE LOW INCOMES AND/OR ARE UN- OR UNDERINSURED WHILE ENABLING REGIONAL UNIQUENESS IN THE PLANNING, ACCESS, AND PROVISION OF THOSE SERVICES. IN ADDITION TO MEDICAL AND NUTRITIONAL CARE, REGIONAL PARTNERS HAVE INCORPORATED BEST PRACTICES FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION, OUTREACH, TRAINING, DATA MANAGEMENT, AND RESEARCH.
