IT IS THE MISSION OF THE NITTANY VALLEY VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, INC. TO PROFESSIONALLY PROTECT THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF THOSE WHO RESIDE, VISIT AND TRAVEL THROUGH PORTER TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY AND ITAPOSS SURROUNDING AREAS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THE DEDICATION OF TRAINED VOLUNTEERS USING THE BEST EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES AVAILABLE, WHILE HAVING MINDSET TOWARDS TRAINING, FIRE PREVENTION, SERVICE, SAFETY AND PROGRESSION.
