The various ways we do so include facilitating community immersion programs for CU Family Medicine Residents and for medical students involved in mentored scholarly activies (MSA projects). Medical students have been involved in active CBPR projects: Community and Students Against Healthcare Racism (CSTAHR), Maternal Health,Teen Obesity and Refugee Health. Connect 2 Communities uses a CBPR model which ensure expertise from the community is valued equally and that community members include in all aspects of the project.
