Global Glimpse focuses on accessibility, sustainability, and scalability. We have developed an innovative and effective grassroots model that leverages volunteer support from public high school educators to make experiential education abroad accessible to students from all socioeconomic backgrounds. The model is highly scalable and 100% of donor and foundation support goes to fund organizational growth and scholarships for low income youth on Global Glimpse programs. Our program activities foster and encourage High School students to gain a first-hand experience abroad that enables them to become and act as responsible global citizens.

Our programs are six months long and begin with engaging pre-trip after-school workshops led by Global Glimpse trained educators at our partner public high schools. These workshops prepare students with a base of understanding on leadership, globalization, aid and development, and international relations. During the three week summer immersion program students are involved in seminars and lectures, field trips, reality challenges, and community action projects that address the following curriculum themes in depth: History, Culture, Education, Poverty, Global Business, Politics, Human Rights, Aid and Development, and Immigration.
