ALCFRC provides several programs to strengthen Limestone County families and help them move toward healthy self-sufficiency. One key program is Family Solutions, which helps families and individuals in unsustainable situations by putting them on a path towards financial sustainability and success. Lower income families and individuals are financially assisted with rent and utility payments, followed by the creation of a simple and achievable plan for success. Another program is Workforce Development, which serves individuals in Limestone County who need assistance with removing barriers that may prevent them from reaching their professional goals in life. The focus is on the individual client and how to best serve them, starting with a needs assessment and followed by assistance with education, work readiness and financial assistance in partnership with other community resources.
