MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS1. IN A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS, CONDUCTED A SURVEY ON TELEHEALTH USAGE WITH ALL LICENSED HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS IN THE COMMONWEALTH.2. BROUGHT TELEHEALTH STAKEHOLDERS TOGETHER FOR FACILITATED DISCUSSIONS TO FUTURE PLAN FOR TELEHEALTH IN THE COMMONWEALTH. 3. RESEARCHED AND PUBLISHED BEST PRACTICE CASE STUDIES ON BREAKING DOWN ACCESS BARRIERS FOR TELEHEALTH. 4. CONTINUED THE PILOT PROGRAM OF PARTNERING WITH FREE AND CHARITABLE CLINICS TO SERVE THEIR MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED PATIENTS WITH TELEMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED BY PRE-LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS. IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION BEGAN PROVIDING TELEMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN A PILOT PROGRAM. THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA SERVES AS A FUNDING PARTNER. IN MARCH 2023, A SEPARATE LEGAL ENTITY, VIRGINIA TELEMENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE ("VTMHI") WAS FORMED WITH THE INTENT TO PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES UNDER THIS SEPARATE ENTITY. THIS ENTITY, WHICH SHARES COMMON BOARD MEMBERS AND MANAGEMENT, AND RECEIVED TAX EXEMPT STATUS (501(C)(3)) WITH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IN NOVEMBER OF 2023., THE ORGANIZATION INTENDS TO GRANT FUNDS TO VTMHI AND ALSO ENTER INTO A MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT FOR SHARED SERVICES. ALL TRANSACTIONS WITH VTMHI WILL BE REPORTED ON SCHEDULE R, RELATED ORGANIZATIONS AND UNRELATED PARTNERSHIPS, IN FUTURE YEARS.
