Companions In Crisis gives financial support for those who need cancer treatments for their dogs or cats. This program servs Washington D.C. Maryland, and Virginia residents. The process is relatively easy in that their treating veterinarian completes the medical application regarding treatment plan. It then goes to a medical board to be reviewed. We have parameters that we work within. If accepted, the client fills out the personal and financial part of the applicaion. Depending on their income and need we will award the owners between 20-40% of the costs. We pay this directly to the veterinary practice.
